Since I know a lot of you guys play video games I will go ahead and ask this here.

I FINALLY started playing Skyward sword, but I am having a buggy issue where every few minutes Link won't stop running around even though I am pressing nothing. It wouldn't be a big deal but when it happens it's hard to control where he moves to, like it's hard to make him turn around, I also cannot climb down ladders when it happens.

The only way to "fix" it is by reconnecting my wiimote, but even the "fix" only tends to last for minutes at a time.

I've never had these sort of problems til adding the wii motion plus on my wiimote, I have a secondary nunchuck which I plugged in, thinking that was the problem, but nope, still have this issue.

Do I just need a brand spanking new wiimote? Is it the motion plus? IS IT THE GAME? OMGWHATDOIDO?

What makes it worse is he just runs in circles, my Link is defective. Stop running around Link! CALM THYSELF.

EDIT: Definitely not a problem I can fix tonight. Link just committed suicide by jumping off a cliff.*rofl*

Thanks for the help guys!

I haven't done the heavy math but I haven't used my wii very often in the past years, so that's why I never got another rechargeable battery pack. I think if you use your wii a lot in the short term it is worth the money. I think I got mine while I was playing twilight princess because I was tired of batteries going dead during battles, so they are definitely good in terms of giving you a longer play time, but Zelda is really the only game I play on the wii that takes that much game time anyway.

*rofl* And I don't doubt the game boy could survive an apocalypse. I still have my old tetris cartridge, I don't use it on the game boy but on the game boy advance sometimes (only because the screen is brighter.)

That really does sound like a nunchuck issue. Maybe both of your nunchucks are shot.

It's possible, they are old. I think I'm going to try my second wiimote as well because I haven't done that yet. If that doesn't work then I don't know what, maybe I need to buy a brand knew wiimote set.

It wasn't until Skyward Sword that I realized one of my Nunchucks wasn't in prime working order. Couldn't somersault worth a crap.... I wonder if I'd do better in Punch-Out now...

Yeah like I said this is the first time I've had the issue but it's also the first time I've needed a motion plus and my first time putting in Skyward Sword. All my other games are older and I think the last time I even took out my wii it was just to play wii sports.

I haven't played wii's punch out, is it fun?
